Thanks to Cloudinary’s Advanced Search feature in the Media Library, you can easily find any files by the dates they were added to the system. We offer the option to search according to the following date criteria:
- creation date - when the asset was first uploaded to Cloudinary
- last replaced date - when an asset was most recently overwritten or replaced. For an asset that was never replaced, this attribute will have the same value as its creation date
- date taken - this is the date assigned to the image as part of its Exif data
To search by creation date, navigate to your media library and select Advanced Search from the media library search bar.
Next, click on the Creation date filter chip. This will open up a dropdown menu where you can select the timeframe for the filter. If one of the predefined options isn't suitable, you can select 'Custom range' to choose specific start and end dates.
If you need to search by the last replaced date or date taken, click + Add more. That will open up a dropdown menu with several additional options for filtering your assets. You will find last replaced and date taken in this list of options.
For additional information, please refer to the Advanced Search documentation.
