Why all derived images that use limited fill or limit looks bad?

Hello
I noticed that all my images with transformations look as low quality. If I remove all transformations from url path like c_limit,w_225 all images start looks great. Why does it happen?

I read most of the documentation and it describes c_limit and c_lfill transformation only as image size reductions. Maybe it reduces image quality too?

  Hi Pavel,

   

  `limit` and `lfill`, as the rest of the cropping method, don't affect image quality. You can define an image quality by using the `quality` parameter (`q_` in URLs).

  Can you share specific examples for us to further investigate?

  I found that this happens because of both width and height parameters. Since it leads to decreasing image size, my image was smaller. That's why it looks as low quality

  Do you also see any visual degradation in addition to the (expected) size reduction?

  As you can see there is no visual degradation. I found a problem that was not connected with your cloud utils
