Load small blurred image as same size replace with full-res when loaded

Is there a way to do this with Cloudinary?

  We currently don't support this effect but we have opened a feature request with our dev team.

  As soon as it is implemented I would be happy to let you know.

  Hi Alex,

  All though there isn't a dedicated method of achieving a blur effect you can achieve this using cloudinary.
  Herre is an example of how to do that:
