Some trouble with the OCR addon.

Hi, sorry I am still pretty new to cloudinary.

 

I want to automatically extract text from pictures for every upload. How exactly do I do this?

I went to https://cloudinary.com/console/upload_presets/new and then under 'advanced options' chose OCR -> adv_ocr

 

Under https://cloudinary.com/console/settings/upload#upload_presets

I then activated 

Default upload preset
 
 
Media library's upload preset
 
 

But in my media library I cannot see any text/option to display it. 

 

To test the OCR I tried to crop the text of an image. In the media library I chose a picture and then under Resize&Crop

 

Mode -> Crop

Gravity -> OCR detected text

which worked fine.

 

But how do I get extracted? Is it possible to do this in the browser directly?

    Thank you for reaching out.

    You can get the OCR output as part of the upload response from our upload API, and/or through notification url, if sets on your upload preset, or on your account level.
