How to avoid creating media_lib_thumb?

After uploading new image media_lib_thumb  is created. How to avoid it?

    The 'media_lib_thumb' thumbnails are created when viewing uploaded images through the media library web interface .They are not created for images uploaded through our API (until browsed through the media library). This means that if you upload many images, only for a small part of them thumbnails will be created.
