I have an android app. When I upload a gif and transform to mp4 video, then everything is okay, and it is working everywhere. When I upload mp4 video from other website, then app does not play it on some phones. I guess it's because of that video's original format or codec or something. So how can I transform this video like when I upload a gif file? I tried different formats, but it didn't help. I don't need audio I only need video.

Hi,

You can convert a video's format by simply changing its extension to the desired format.

For example,

Changing the dog.mp4 video to a gif -

Original video -

http://res.cloudinary.com/demo/video/upload/dog.mp4

Transformed -

http://res.cloudinary.com/demo/video/upload/dog.gif
