Does CDN hurt SEO in anyway?
Can anyone tell me how Google handles images that are served on a CDN ie: "http://res.cloudinary.com/name/image/upload/v1476756300/banners/imagename1234234.gif"
- Does this hurt SEO
- Are images served like this indexed in google?
Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Using a CDN will not hurt your SEO ranking. Using a CDN will most likley contribute to the loading time of your pages, and might also lower your bounce rate.
With that being said, using a CDN would contribute more to domains with many resources and a lot of pages rather than sites who are just starting out.Cloudinary offers dynamic SEO suffixes for SEO purposes which you can read about here:
