React Image Gallery from uploaded images

I have the image upload widget working on my webpage and when I upload pictures they are displayed on the page. But when I reload the page they all disappear.

I've been following this tutorial:

https://scotch.io/tutorials/leveraging-react-for-easy-image-management-with-cloudinary

and I can't tell whether the image gallery is supposed to stay on on the page all the time? Otherwise is there a way to iterate through all uploads or all images on your Cloudinary page into a gallery in React?
