Images from woocommerce products dissapeared (error 404)
Hi All.
Have a misterious bug within the categories products of woocommerce, where images are cloudinaried.
Images in products are shown correctly, and both places (product page) and category page shows 2 different urls from the same image.
For example, this is the url of a product from categories:
And the URL on product page itself:
https://res.cloudinary.com/XXXXXXXXXXXX/image/upload/f_auto,q_auto/v1561454450/K1801Vi_hrujbj.png
Seems that woocommerce new version shows 300x400 (never changed it only updated plugin) and brokes it.
¿Something that can i do for override the problem?
Thanks a lot.

Hi John,
This was related to a bug in our Cloudinary WordPress plugin version 2.1.1 which was the most recently released version. The URLs which had the dash and dimensions suffix e.g. "-300x400" in your case were resulting in the error since they requested a public_id that wouldn't have existed.
We actually released a fix today for this in another Plugin version - 2.1.2. May I please ask you to upgrade to that version and let us know if the URLs to the images no longer contain that suffix and therefore are delivered as expected?

Hi Micahel,
The 2.1.2 version should resolve the issues that were seen in 2.1.1 where a suffix was added to the public_ids (e.g. -300x600) which resulted in broken images.
If you are seeing issues on 2.1.2 with the URLs or delivery of the images, may I please ask you to share more details about this? For instance - What version of WordPress are you using, theme and editor, a screenshot of the plugins page from your WP and a link to a page on your site that we can see the issue?

Hi Aleksandar,
I'm currently experiencing this issue with wordpress 5.4.2 and plugin version 2.1.2. The images fail with a 404 error.
here's one of the pages where images are failing to display: https://www.fisioterapia-pilates.com/category/investigacion/
I'm using a template monster template with the classic editor and power builder.
Please advise

Hi Diana,
I can look into this while Aleksander is away.
After inspecting the image URLs on your site via Browser console, I found that images still having the URLs with the suffix "- 1200x787" causing the images to break.

Can you please try uploading new images and see if they are still broken?

Hi Jay,
I just published a new article and uploaded a new picture.
In the homepage, the new image is also broken (https://res.cloudinary.com/snrgbcn/image/upload/f_auto,q_auto/v1593680044/web/crackers-semillas-536x282.jpeg)
I opened a support ticket as you suggested.
Thank you.
