    Hi Gustavo,

By default, all images, when requested via the browser are being displayed instead of downloaded except in the following scenarios:

    • The image you request is in a format that the browser doesn't natively render like SVG, TIFF, PSD etc.
    • You explicitly added the fl_attachment flag to the transformation component of your Cloudinary image URL.
    • Your site's code forces the image to be downloaded instead of being displayed or open in a new tab within the browser.

May I ask you to share with me an example image URL that you try and use on your site, which is being downloaded instead of displayed?
If you can also share a code snippet of your site where you generate the HTML code for embedding the image on your page?

If you prefer continuing this investigation privately, please open a support ticket at https://support.cloudinary.com/hc/en-us/requests/new with a reference to this thread.

    Best,
    Raz

    Hi there Raz,

Thank you for your reply. As a matter of fact I just figured out what was going on.

Image download is working exactly as you stated above, the problem was that the image I was working with was actually an SVG.

So I just switched formats and it all worked out as expected.

    Thanks again,

    Gustavo
