I want my cdn images to appear on Google image search results

what to add in robots.txt file

Hi Awdiz,
The default robots.txt on res.cloudinary.com doesn't block any crawlers:
https://res.cloudinary.com/robots.txt
As such, if you use Cloudinary-hosted assets in your website and Google indexes the website, Google will be able to access the images also, unless something in your HTML tells it not to

the thing is 90% of my images are not shown in google search, only some 4 to 5 are seen , what can be the reason here any idea

Hi Awdiz,
If media assets are used in a webpage which Google has indexed, it may also include the assets in search results, but that's something that's in Google's control (though can be affected by the metadata or meta tags in your webpage).
If you'd like to request Google re-indexes your website, they are tools and guides for that, including:
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/ask-google-to-recrawl
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/guidelines/google-images?hl=enFrom our side, we do not prevent Google from accessing the images, nor do we use a robots.txt or HTTP response headers to ask Google not to index the assets
Regards,Stephen
