Media Optimizer API - Cloud name-here belongs to eu geo, please access via api-eu.cloudinary.com

Whenever I try to send a request to MO API I keep getting

"Cloud cloud-name belongs to eu geo, please access via api-eu.cloudinary.com"

And if I change my request to api-eu instead of mo-api , I just get an HTML page not found back...

Sending GET to:

'https://API-KEY:API-SECRET@mo-api.cloudinary.com/v1/cloudName/ping'
 
How can I resolve this?

    Hi Adam,

    When setting up Media Optimizer you get to choose the storage region and it appears, based on the error, you're on the EU region.

    In this case, however, despite the error message, the endpoint you will want to use is - https://mo-api-eu.cloudinary.com - there is a bug with the error message which returns an incorrect endpoint and that will be resolved to show the correct endpoint but if you use the one I shared above it should work for you.

    I get it now, a correction on link you wrote for eu is "mo-api-eu.cloudinary.com"
