Deliver .avif extension images to wordpress, and replace with .webp extension for browsers that don't support .avif just yet.

Hi there,

I actually have an issue at the moment, I started to use .avif images on my wordpress site, and it's working great on Chrome and firefox browsers, but found out later that .avif format doesn't work on Microsoft Edge and Safari.

I wanted to ask if there is a way to deliver these .avif images in a different format (like .webp) to those browsers that don't support .avid formatted images?

This is a very crucial step and really want to try and figure it out.
