Do I need compress images before upload? or Cloudinary will do it automatically on upload?

Hey, thanks for getting in touch.

By default, when we serve an uploaded asset, we serve it in the exact same quality it was uploaded in. We do recommend you apply some optimizations though, in order to ensure a better experience for your site/app's users.

Here in our documentation are some great examples on how to optimize your images: https://cloudinary.com/documentation/image_optimization#how_to_optimize_image_quality

If you have any questions, please let us know here or in a support ticket and we'll be happy to provide further assistance.

    All the best,
    -Danny
