If someone else plays around with the URL parameters, will it be counted as a transformation and increase the credit usage?
I'm building an application with image URLs that is directly editable by the URL parameters. Due to the nature of the platform I am using to build my application, I am unable to conceal URLs from the users.
This means that the user can retrieve the URL, edit its parameters, and produce a new image. If this were to happen, would my account's credit usage increase?
All activities done through your account will be using your credits (i.e., transformations, bandwidth, and storage). And in order to have control over your media access (i.e., transformation), you could apply a signed URL on the fly to secure your image transformation and also use the strict transformation feature:
