Unsigned upload options are controlled by an upload preset, so to use this feature you first need to enable unsigned uploading from the upload preset of the console settings.
Unsigned requests are restricted to the following allowed parameters:
- upload_preset (Mandatory)
- callback
- public_id
- folder
- tags
- context
- face_coordinates (images only)
- custom_coordinates (images only)
- regions (images only)
Additionally, although the public_id parameter can be specified, the overwrite parameter is always set to 'false' for unsigned uploads to prevent overwriting existing files.
Most of the other upload parameters can be defined in your upload_preset (e.g. original filename, control backup policy, perform moderation, etc.).
Note: Unsigned upload parameters cannot contradict the upload preset settings.
