Transformation not updating

We set up a transformation called medium. I recently changed the settings of this transformation so that the height will scale automatically. However, I am not seeing the new changes on the website. If I create a new transformation called medium2 with the same settings and use that instead on the website then I can see the scaling effect.

Why isn't the existing medium transformation not working? Does Cloudinary take some time to clear out the old transformations?
