Do derived images (transformations) count towards storage

We are reaching our plan limit for storage. We are looking to add a new transformation property (jpegmini) for all our signed urls. Will the new images count towards storage, or is only the original image that counts?

  We count all newly uploaded and generated images. As the JPEGmini version creates a new different image being stored in your account, those will be counted too. You can always choose to delete unnecessary resources (either original or derived).

  So just to be sure I understand how this works.  If I upload an image and pre generate derived images at the common sizes that I use in my blog - 800x400, 200x100, etc.  Pre cropped and gravity set to "face".   Do each of these count towards my quota or is it just the original image?  I know the jpegmini is an add on so I didn't know if those images were counted differently.

  Hi Bryan, 

  All derived images are counted toward the storage quota, regardless of the transformations applied.
