Direct uploading from the browser using Node and Pug

I'm trying to upload directly from Pug template in Node, but the hidden field is not getting populated; I don't think there's actually an event listener on this control:

cloudinary.uploader.image_upload_tag('image_id', { callback: cloudinary_cors });
