How are transformed counted

    Hi,

The first request for a new transformed/derived version that doesn't already exist in your account will consume 1 Transformation as part of the processing to create it. All future requests for the same derived version will not consume any Transformation quota and the only quota that will be consumed would be bandwidth as a result of delivery.

More information on how each of the quotas are counted can be found in this article:

But I have uploaded 18 images and my transformation count is 50 why?
And one for example. My app have 100 users who load 10 image per day
    Means 3000 total per month
So my transformation count will not be 3000?
    It will be 10?

    Hi,

The most likely scenario is that 18 of the Transformations are for the uploads themselves. If you then browse the Media Library that will create the thumbnails for each of the images, this generation results in the other 18 and a total of 36 out of the 50. Without looking at the logs for your specific account there won't be a way to definitively say where the other have come from.

Regarding your second question; Transformations are consumed for uploads and creating new transformations for images. If your users are requesting an already existing transformed image then it will not cost any Transformations as that version already exists.

If it is for a request for a new transformed version that doesn't exist, then only 1 Transformation would be counted. Once this version is created it will not consume further Transformations for future requests for this version.

    Best regards,

    Aleksandar
