Image downloading time is higher in Australia as compare to UK.
Hi,
I was working on website performance and notice that the same Cloudinary image is taking more in Sydney, Australia as compared to London, UK. Cloudinary CDN is working on multiple CDNs so different should not be much higher.
Find a few examples in the below screenshots. below data collected from the GTMetrix tool.
London, UK (Left) vs Sydney, Australia (Right)

Hi Viney,
From the screenshots, it's impossible to see why the second requests may be slower, though a likely explanation is that the requests weren't previously cached in the CDN edge servers which responded to the AU test so they had to be fetched from the origin (or simply that the origin is further from those edge servers if the UK requests were also cache misses)
It appears that all requests were slower and not just those from Cloudinary, which could be for the same reason, due to the speed of other requests earlier in the waterfall, or because specific assets weren't loading and other assets were waiting for a usable connection were waiting. I'm referring specifically to the gap between 36285 and 794 in your screenshot here - there are approximately 2 seconds extra between when the browser made those requests in the screenshot on the right-hand side
If that doesn't explain it, may I ask you to please create a support ticket with the full reports included so we can check the details?
Thanks,
Stephen
