Zooming in the gallery, on mobile, directs the zoom to the bottom right corner

Hi,

In the 'Product Gallery' when zooming on mobile it will direct the 'zoom' towards the bottom right corner. On desktop it is working as intended. Is there any way of changing the mobile behavior?

  2. Mobile Phone model/OS version
  3. Browser

  Hi Jay,

  This behaviour can be found in all 'Product galleries' (at least the ones i have seen), as an example, your demo gallery here:
  https://demo.cloudinary.com/product-gallery/

  If you visit the site on mobile (both Android & iOS) and 'tap to zoom' on a gallery, the zooming will begin in the bottom right corner of the picture, contrary to the desktop behaviour where the zoom will start where you pressed.

  Hi,

  Thanks for sharing more details. I was able to replicate the behavior and have reported this internally with the dev team for further investigation.
