"No supported media sources" when viewing on iPad
Hi there,
We've got a video upoad preset configured for our app that eagerly applies a "sp_full_hd_lean/mpd" transformation to our videos on the way in.
We then use the Cloudinary Video Player for playback using the following options:
Everything seems to work fine on desktop devices as well as android devices, however on iPhones and iPads we see the following:
The issue can be viewed here:

and the video in question is:

Any ideas?

Hey Chris,
Were you accessing the site from a Safari browser?
The reason I'm asking is that we are currently aware of some issues reported when trying to play MPEG-DASH playlists using our player on Safari browsers. We are currently investigating this...
Meanwhile, please note that you can use HLS as an alternative to MPEG-DASH. We are not aware of any current compatibility issues with any of the popular browsers when played via our video player.
Best,

I've tried to update our streaming profile via the Cloudinary dashboard.
Our old configuration was:
I have tried to change this to the following, but I receive an error that "streaming_profile must be the only directive in the transformation component" at which point it changes the transformationto sp_full_hd_lean.
Am I selecting the HLS option correctly?

Hey Chris,
Do you see the difference between the eager using dash and the m3u8 one? The first is set as the extension, while the other is set as fetch format within the transformation component.
Can you please try and edit your HLS transformation so that instead of having m3u8 set in the "Fetch Format" field, you set it in the regular "Format" while returning "Fetch Format" to be "none", so eventually both the HLS transformation will have the same pattern as the older DASH transformation => `sp_full_hd_lean/m3u8`?
Please let me know if this still doesn't solve your issue.Best,

That did the trick. Thanks!
