Background removal on creatures not fitting any AI type in docs.
Hello,
I am new to cloudinary, and am trying to allow users to remove backgrounds on images like the one below, so that the characters can be inserted into comics and videos.

Would this be a "person?" And how would I make sure his little bag gets included? And, is it possible to remove the blue between the bag and his back? The docs are not very definitive. Would appreciate any help.
Also, it is unclear to me whether this can be done by changing parameters in url, or whether it must be done on upload with a preset.
Sincerely,
The Wizard of Wikacy

Hi Daniel,
You can add Cloudinary AI removal via the upload preset when uploading through the UI.
Make sure you select that preset when uploading the image.
I tried running it on my account for this image, the response I got keeps the bag with the blue string. Since it is a very specific requirement a human touch will be required to eliminate the blue string. We also offer Pixelz background removal and maybe you can try exploring that option as the background removal is performed by real people and not AI.
The objects that Cloudinary AI detects are listed [here](https://cloudinary.com/documentation/cloudinary_ai_background_removal_addon#supported_foreground_objects) and we are always trying to improve the algorithm. If you have a specific object that you would like us to detect and if you have a training set of images then please feel free to share it with us. You can open a support ticket and share all the details.

Ooh could you please post the image:)???
Since you mention algorithm, what I would like to do is, as part of my app to help writers make their characters go viral, I am using some apis to retreive trending issues as they unfold on twitter, facebook, and instagram, and then give them an option to dynamically create a series of memes using their characters for the different issues, which could then be dynamically tweeted, posted, etc. along with the listener for the issues.
Do you have a prebuilt generative adversarial network? I am building my own and trying to learn the extent to which the cloudinary api can teach mine.
Thanks for your help:)

Also, I do not see any way to chose an upload preset when uploading through cloudinary ui.

Hi Daniel,
The most likely reason you're not seeing the option to select an Upload Preset in the Media Library UI is that this feature wasn't enabled for your account. Please create a ticket with us via - https://support.cloudinary.com/hc/en-us/requests/new - sharing your cloud name and we will be able to check and enable it if it's not enabled yet.
