Filesize limit on new presents

I'm having an issue uploading images using a preset. I originally created a preset involving a jpg transformation and was able to upload images without an issue. I duplicated that preset and changed the format to png, and upon saving it noticed that uploads through that preset were all rejected with a 400-level error due to the filesize. Uploading the same file with the original preset works just fine so I know it's not account level. 

I noticed that the way presets are created has been updated and I believe that's to blame. If I duplicate the original preset, open it and save it without any changes it automatically applies a number of other transformations by default. I'm sure one of these is to blame.

I've looked around the preset options and nothing seems to be related to limits regarding the file size.

    Could you please share with me the original image (before uploading) and the working upload preset + the one that didn't work?
