How long Cloudinary store backed up images?
Hello,
I have a heavy GDPR issue with our client.
We built a job application website where users can upload CV-s, but we don't know how long cloudinary store the backed up files with free service?
We upload files via API, but we can delete only on admin dashboard. Our client's GDPR officer needs information about backup expiration and and the method of deletion.
Offtopic, but need help too: Does Cloudinary log any data - except default access.log - about the user, when he/she uploads or downloads files?
Thank you.

Hi Zsolt
Original images will be stored in backup indefinitely, Cloudinary will be able to delete specific or all data from the production environment upon request.
Of course that all data is encrypted in transit, at rest, and when stored in AWS backups.
Cloudinary does not keep any Personal Identifiable Information collected as part of logging. It's worth noting that IP addresses are recorded as part of logging and retained for 90 days

Is private key encryption available?

Yes, we have a couple of options to control access to the assets.
You can read more about it here:
