Get date time from when photo was taken
I need to know the datetime of when a given image was taken. This value is stored in the JPG file and can be verified in OSX's finder as the "Created" value. However when uploading into Cloudinary this value appears to be omitted.
When I use either Cloudinary's Search or Admin API to retrieve the uploaded file, it includes a created_at value of the time it was uploaded. Not the original created value.
I need the original created value. Is this stored anywhere?

Hi Nick,
Can you please share with us the original image you're referring to?
You can also open a ticket at support@cloudinary.com with the information if you don't wish to share the details publicly.

Hi Raya,
I'm referring to images in general. It seems that when I upload an image via the drag and drop web interface Cloudinary doesn't seem to save the original file creation date. Instead, Cloudinary saves the date of when I uploaded the file. Which isn't helpful, I need the original file creation date kept in tact.
Thanks!

Hi Nick,
Yes, you are correct.
Currently, the creation date is the date that we create it on Cloudinary.
I've opened a request on your behalf to our product team to consider adding it to our road-map.
Thank you
