    Hi Marvin,

When requesting one of your resources, whether it's an original or a transformed version, its delivered size counts towards your account's bandwidth consumption.

If you'll take a look at your account's counters, you will see it is divided into 4 categories: Storage, Bandwidth, Transformations, and Number of files.

The size of your stored content, including all derived resources, counts towards your storage usage while each time you request a resource, your bandwidth increases accordingly.

With that being said, in order to play the transformed video, you should request the following URL:
    https://res.cloudinary.com/marvinq/video/upload/v1550767648/q_50,vc_h264/xiflat/users/aVvNfHeMDEb7rixf1QwTnVi87WO2/template.mp4

The first URL that you've shared will return the original video without the applied manipulations, which will not give you the results you expect.

The reason why you should request the manipulated version is to reduce the delivered size of the video for faster loading but also for reducing your bandwidth consumption.

Delivering optimized content exclusively allows you to increase the number of requests for your media assets, before hitting your plan's limits.

    Best,
    Raz
