Preserve tags and metadata when updating an image

It is common for our team to re-upload an asset with metadata, but the metadata gets reset whenever the existing asset is updated. This is a real pain for us as all the metadata then eeds to be reentered. Is there a way to preserve the metadata on an asset when replacing the asset?

  You can preserve the metadata by using the flag keep_iptc (fl_keep_iptc). You can read more about it here:
