Limited number of Images in Folder for Performance

Hi Fourm, 

When my code was on a physical server, then it was relevant on a windows server to limit the number of images in a folder, with fix length file names to get the best retrieval performance.

Is there any performance benefit in limiting the number of images in a folder ?

  Thanks for reaching out. 

  There isn't any performance implication but depending on your usage, it could also be interesting to organize assets in folders to make it easier to browse using the UI.
