Using remote fetch: Any way to get better SEO URLs?
I am looking into using remote fetch in order to store my images in Google Cloud Storage, but use Cloudinary for the cdn/transformation stuff. I saw that remote fetch would allow this. However, the URLs will be very long and ugly. Does Cloudinary have any features where one could make these URLs a bit more search engine friendly? Or, am I better off just hosting the images at Cloudinary in the first place?

Hi Nick,
For most scenarios, it's better if the images uploaded to your Cloudinary account. However this varies on each use-cases.
If you don't want to use fetch (due to long URL), you can also use auto-upload. This way you can also take advantage of all of Cloudinary features, including SEO friendly URL.You can learn more on the following blog post regarding SEO friendly URL: https://cloudinary.com/blog/how_to_dynamically_create_seo_friendly_urls_for_your_site_s_images
