    Hi Rizky,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    1. e_preview could take some time until it is rendered, but you could add eager_notification_url to be notified once it is ready. See here more details about this option: https://cloudinary.com/documentation/video_manipulation_and_delivery#video_preview_tips_and_guidelines
    2. When adding e_preview in the browser, at the beginning it will show HTTP Error 423 until the derived image is ready.
    3. Regarding adding e_preview in the upload preset in the console - this option is not available, but you could create an upload preset through the Admin API. Here is our documentation that describes this option:
      https://cloudinary.com/documentation/upload_presets#managing_upload_presets_programmatically

    Hope this is helpful!

    Thanks,

    Wissam

    Hi Wissam,

Thanks for the response. Following your link for eager upload, most examples there are using SDKs to upload with eager option. Let me know if I get this right: if I want my video previews to be generated eagerly after upload, either through SDKs or Media Library, I need to create an upload preset using Admin API and set eager="e_preview".

Is there a reason why e_preview isn't available in console? It seems much easier to enable it there.

    Cheers

    Hi Rizky,

Previously created upload presets are available for you to select in the console under the 'Advance menu' located in the lower-left corner of the upload window. Please see the screenshot.

    Thanks,

    Anthony

I didn't see the Upload Preset dropdown, just public ID and Add tag, how do I enable it? I have created a preset using API call as mentioned before along default upload presets yet the option doesn't appear for me.

    Hi Rizky,

As the feature has to be enabled in our system for your profile, can you please help to open a support ticket here (https://support.cloudinary.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) because we needed additional information for your account in order to process your request?

    Thanks.
