Uploading GIFs from Zapier
Hello,
I want to auto upload daily a GIF from a Google Drive Folder to Cloudinary and then generate a link, where the GIF is transformed to be smaller.
But when I test the zap, I either get the error message:
- "message":"File size too large. Got 11275941. Maximum is 10485760." when I use image, raw or auto as resource type
or
- "message":"Unsupported file type gif" when I use video.
The Gifs are only 3 - 10MB in size and I can upload them manually. Did anyone have the same issue and was able to solve it?

Hi Yannick,
The maximum image file size for a Free plan is 10 MB, and uploading files above the limit will not be successful. You will need to resize the GIF file down below the limit.
And GIF files need to be uploaded using the resource_type = 'image'; uploading them as a 'video' is not supported (see https://cloudinary.com/documentation/animated_images).
