Use cloudinary features without uploading media to cloudinary

I am an Android Developer. I Integrated Media Optimizer with Firebase Storage. Now my query is I want to transform videos and images and want to use features such as transformations without uploading my media to Cloudinary. So is this possible? or do I have to upload in Cloudinary to achieve all its features?

  Hi there, 

  I saw that you opened a support ticket directly, so I have responded to your question there. But for the benefit of others who may end up here searching for answers - when you choose our Media Optimizer product, that means that you will manage your own storage, nothing is uploaded to Cloudinary. You can absolutely use transformations to optimize or perform creative enhancements on your assets. I will link to our documentation on the transformations that are supported for Media Optimizer:
