Cloudinary Shopify App + Storefront API?

If I implement the Cloudinary / Shopify Integration: https://cloudinary.com/documentation/shopify_integration

Will that have any impact on image links delivered via the Shopify Storefront API?

Or it only works with native Shopify stores?

  Hi Olle. I'm Danny from the Customer Success team.

   

  Thank you for your interest in our Shopify integration. I'm happy to confirm there will be no impact on the image links delivered via the Shopify Storefront API. 

   

  If you choose to use our Product Gallery Widget, assets will be delivered from Cloudinary and not from the Shopify CDN.

  If you wanted or needed to get Cloudinary URLs directly, you should be able to query the meta-fields to find them.

  Got the integration setup now, what namespace or key are the images exposed to via the Storefront API?

  Hi there,

  I am not quite sure what you are trying to achieve. Could you please elaborate more?

  Our documentation refers more to how to use our snippets and use Shopify liquid language to fetch data from product metafields or construct URL, now if you actually want to use Storefront API to get product-related assets you need to retrieve Shopify product metafields.
